Villa Carda is located in Casentino, a valley that offers fascinating and uncontaminated landscape rich of history and traditions. Not far from the main cities and villages of art, Casentino Valley preserves the more genuine tuscan lifestyle.
Rooms
With 4 bedrooms and 2 suites, all with enclosed bathroom, the villa can give hospitality to 12+4 persons. Every bedroom has a unique style and contains pieces by acclaimed artists from Italy. In each suites there is a pleasent and elegant living area with sofa that can be turned in a doublebed. The showers in the bathrooms are all spacious, comfortable and modern.
The wellness area
The wellness area, created inside of a bright and panoramic structure, awaits for you to give you moments of relax after a day full of emotions. The wellness zone is equipped with a lounge area, Jacuzzi tub, emotional shower, hamam with cromo therapy and Technogym cardio-fitness equipments.
The pool
The heated pool has a breath taking view of the surrounding hills. Beside the pool there is a fully equipped solarium with sunbeds, tables and chairs by Emu. The refined gazebo in front of the pool offers a fresh refuge during sunny days.
The terrace
From Winter 2014 the big and panoramic terrace beside the living room has been equipped with removable glass windows and a pellet stove to make the terrace usable all around the year. As usual the terrace is the favourite place of the house by our guests to take breakfast or dinner, read a book or simply relaxing and admiring the landscape outside. Moreover, with its position, it is the natural extension of the adjacent living area.
The park
The park is the heart and soul of the property. It instills a sense of serenity and peace. The dimensions and the variety of vegetation with secular trees, fruit trees, flowers and a soft lawn enchant the guest. The park is all fenced to guarantee privacy and safety.
Living room and kitchen
The main living has an original antique fireplace, just like the ones used to cook dinner and lunch in the old days. This room is very characteristic of the rustic Tuscan style, with the stone walls, large beam ceilings and a terracotta floor. On the wall there are original paintings of contemporary artists from Tuscany. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities, here you can find all you need to prepare your typical Italian meal!
