It's hard to describe just how beautiful and welcoming Villa Carda is. We just got back from a two week stay with our children and friends. The Villa itself it absolutely lovely, seconded only by the breathtaking views, manicured landscaping, and the hospitality of Antonio and his wife and Andrea and Marco their sons. As frequent travellers we can say with certainty that our holiday at Villa Carda in 2004 was the best vacation we have ever had. The villa's location and scenery were magical, and the warm hospitality of the Franceschini family made our holiday an absolute dream. The privacy and solitude of the grounds enabled us to enjoy the serenity of the countryside and fully unwind. Our family of 11 spent two delightful, relaxing weeks at Villa Carda in July 2008. The villa is beautiful! Every little detail--from fluffy white robes and slippers, to a fully stocked wine cellar, to fresh bread and croissants every morning--was carefully thought out and implemented.The owners were a wealth of information and were kind beyond words. The surroundings are beautiful, the pool and villa are very well-maintained, and the peace and beauty is indescribable.

Dear Antonio, Andrea + Neda!!
Your Villa is an amazing place to stay and it made Tuscan Vacation perfect. Your attention to detail ( fly screens, wine cellar + spectacular gardens ) was uncommon and made us appreciate the property and never want to leave! Neda' s cooking was fantastic! Poppi is one of the most beautiful towns we have visited, and recommend an afternoon there. But frankly, there is nothing better than firing up the BBQ and cooking tuscan sausages and havin a picnic in the park.

What a perfect combination!
Our family and friends in a exquisite villa with Antonio , Andrea and his family as a part of our family as well.
We reluctantly leave but hope to return and relive all the memories of our time at Villa Carda!

We hate to leave such a heavenly place, it was wonderful beyond words. Fresh herbs, fruit from the garden and beautiful flowers for our " al fresco " dining every evening.
